| Going to the cricket.......the truck is a 1914 International
owned by John Meyer. This photo id dated pre - 1920! Note the wooden spokes and solid
rubber tyres! Plank bench seat on truck rests on a "Shell benzine" tin! L-R after cab, 2nd Rob Meyer, 3rd last Fred Allingame, 2nd last Bill Allingame and last standing Ted Haines.

RD Meyer coming off Strathalbyn Oval, after a good innings. We
believe this is the match where Don Bradman visited Strathalbyn with some SACA players to
play against a combined association side. He made a few runs and "caught" a ball
thrown back from the boundary on his bat! We assume this photo to be about 1936 - 1942. SACA officials are looking into the details of the visit..
