| A book written by on the History of the area points out that Cricket was played at Bletchley, but it was social cricket. The Strathalbyn District Council sign indicates this site as a former chuch and cemetry site for Bletchley. Cricket was played behind this area. A tombstone; one of a few, can just be seen back to the left of the sign. We have not found any records which suggest Ashbourne ever played here. The land was used from 1856 to 1900 for the church and cemetry. |
